21 Days
STARTING SUNDAY, JAN 8TH
Join us for 21 days of power, growth and glory as we set aside 21 days to pray, seek God, and believe for Him to work significantly in and around our lives. We will begin with an all church prayer and worship night. The first night of our fast will be Sunday, January 8th, 2023, and will be kicked off with reVIVE Worship & Prayer at 6 PM. We will conclude our 21-day fast with a celebration on Vision Sunday on January 29th at 9 & 11 AM.
We have four tools to help you in the journey with your family.

Every Sunday Service at 9 & 11 AM, we will focus on a specific AUDACIOUS PRAYER that can change your life! So be sure to listen and come every week!

We will have 21 days of reading in the Bible that will correlate to the message that you just heard. (Bookmarks are available during Sunday services and in the church office)

Every day for 21 days there will be a 5-minute devotion online starting at 7AM from 21 different people in our church based on the reading that we are going through together! (Link to subscribe to the YouTube channel is below.)

We will open the church every night at 7-8PM for 21 days for those that want to pray in-person with our prayer ministry.

FASTING GUIDE
There are 3 types of fasts seen clearly in the Bible:

ABSOLUTE Fast: no food, no water, short period of time

Esther 4:16 (NLT) // Go and gather together all the Jews of Susa and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. My maids and I will do the same.

You may choose a day or days to fast or maybe a specific meal/this should not be done for an extended period of time.

NORMAL Fast: without food, only liquid

Jesus: Matthew 4:2 (NLT) // For forty days and forty nights he fasted and became very hungry.

You may choose a day or days to fast or maybe a specific meal (i.e., every Monday or every lunchtime for a certain number of days)

PARTIAL Fast: give up something that was preferred. You give up something you have a right to, something you enjoy for a period of time to pray.

Daniel 10:3 (NLT) // All that time I had eaten no rich food. No meat or wine crossed my lips, and I used no fragrant lotions until those three weeks had passed.

This maybe 21 days of only eating foods that fall within the “Daniel Fast” Guidelines or giving up something that you prefer such as social media, television, specific foods, etc.…

Regardless of the type of fast, the heart is the most important, spend some time considering what you would like to grow in your intimacy with the Lord.
OTHER STEPS TO REMEMBER
Choose when/where you’ll pray –Your home, a walk, with a prayer partner, or any solitary place.
Have a Bible, devotional and prayer guide, journal and if desired, worship music
Remember to enjoy your time with God!
