At Real Life we believe in community, and community is primarily built through groups. You were designed to thrive in community with other believers. Life Groups are the friends you grow, laugh, and serve with. We offer a number of life groups that vary in times, frequency, and locations. Life groups have one purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others so that we can grow in our faith, receive care in life’s ups and downs, and serve others. Connection is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren’t always easy to find. That’s why Life groups exist—to make these life- changing connections relevant and accessible to you. Life groups meet at all different times, days, and locations and there are hundreds of different groups to choose from.
WHAT IS A GROUP?
Each group is made up of 6-18 people who meet regularly (e.g. week, bi-weekly, monthly) and are led by a trained host(s).
WHAT WILL WE STUDY AND TALK ABOUT?
The group study materials vary based upon the group focus or interest. These groups will help us dig a little deeper and apply what we are learning in our everyday lives. We will take time each week to let God speak to us through his word, while also connecting people to each other in fellowship.
HOW LONG DOES A GROUP LAST?
Typically, our Real Life Groups last 10 weeks. After a short break, we start another 10-week session. At the beginning of each session, you can have the choice of staying in the same group or trying a new group.

DUE TO COVID-19: All groups will gather online for 6 weeks starting in June.
WHEN AND WHERE DO THEY MEET?
All throughout the week in homes, restaurants, coffee shops all over our region.
WHICH GROUP SHOULD I JOIN?
Whatever works best for you. Usually the best choice is simply which one has the best time and location for you.
WHAT IS THE REQUIRED COMMITMENT?
There is no official commitment, but typically joining a Real Life Group could be a 10-week commitment to attend the scheduled meetings and to come prepared. We have found that making a commitment is the key to growing strong relationships.
WHAT ABOUT CHILDCARE?
Each Real Life Group will deal with children differently. It is important to check whether or not a prospective group will welcome kids at their meetings.
HOW DO I JOIN?
In the list of life groups (Located on the Church Center Life Groups page), select your preferred group. On that groups page, click the "JOIN" button. You will then receive the necessary information to be able to attend and connect with your group.

Leading a Life Group isn’t about being perfect; it’s about investing in others by giving them a place to connect, grow, and serve. Leading a group is simple—choose a topic that interests you and select a time and location to meet. We’ll resource you with the tools to make your Life Group a success through Leader Training and a web page where you can list your group so others can find it. We believe people’s lives are changed one season at a time, and as a Life Group leader you get to play a vital role in that process.
